About MAQA Collective
I am an Indigenous mother, artist, and writer living in the PNW. My passion lies in helping businesses, individuals, and arts organizations tell their stories—drawing on over 15 years of experience in marketing. This includes roles in the advertising department at a newspaper, serving as editor-in-chief of a newspaper, leading an award-winning marketing and community-building company, and teaching at universities and private classes.
As an award-winning artist, I also dedicate myself to supporting arts organizations and individual artists in growing their arts businesses, crafting compelling artist bios, statements, and narratives that authentically tell their creative stories.
